How do I know I am happy?

If we are happy we don’t ask ourselves if we are happy.

Asking this question is a sign that something is missing or something is in excess. The bottom line is that the balance isn’t there. Happiness can never be in excess, happiness can never be a cause of loosing balance, so there must be something else to investigate.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that

balance = happiness

Balance doesn’t mean living a peaceful life by accepting different doses of unacceptable things in our lives like: I hate my job, but pays my bills; my husband is a jerk, but supports me not working; I always talk bad about my friends, but I suppose that’s what they do too anyway; etc.

We can only be happy = balanced when we are authentic, when the saying “Walk the talk” is not just a nice saying to show it somewhere on top of your desk, you just live it every day.

What do you think?
